Past Life

Past Life is an interesting topic, which evokes almost everyone’s interest nowdays.

According to Yoga Sutras of Patanjali verses 3.18, By self-control on the perception of mental impressions, knowledge of previous lives arises.

When during the state of deep sleep during Past Life Regression theraphy or INDUCED SOMNAMBULISM, the mind has the ability to see and live previous births. However, this is possible only for trained or yogic mind. As the other verses indicate, the mind also has the power to read the mind and thoughts of other people.

Past Life Regression is a technique where practitioner pushes a willing subject cager to find out about the unique mysteries of his past life into a state through the use of Hypnosis.

The first type of self hypnosis experiences is beneficial to both mentally and physically. In deep hypnotic state he releases certain deep rooted memories mostly of negative energy and it releases the Life Force locked in these memories to be used elsewhere.

The second experience is when a person is in a state of total mental silence and a external energy takes over his mind, but first let me tell you that no energy is ever destroyed and it is recycled thus when somebody dies the release of the life energy which was his identity is released into space and subject suddenly starts remembering things which he thinks are from his past life, such memories are erased after sometime when the entity leaves that particular body.

The third experience is past life experiences can also happen when in deep silent state of mind the subject comes into contact with various life energy. This type, which is genuine past life remembrance is extremely rare, as I have explained above that it is the recycled energy, which comes back to life, and this recycled energy cannot remember its past forms.

To control the mind can be summarized thus “For the mind is restless, turbulent, obstinate and very strong, O Krishna, and to subdue it is, it seems to me, more difficult than controlling the mind.” (Bg.6.34) Bhagvad Gita.

Chapter 6, verse 34 Bhagvad Gita says that Arjun speaks for all of us when he describes the troublesome mind. It is turbulent because it creates upheavals in one’s consciousness, in the form of hatred, anger, strong because it overpowers the intellect with its vigorous currents and destroys the faculty of discrimination. Here, Arjun addressed the God as Krishna. The word Krishna’ means : karshati yoginam paramahansanam chetansi iti krishnah [V25].

From Bhafavad Gita, “Lord Shri Krishna is the one who attracts the minds of even the most powerfully-minded yogis and paramahansas”. Thus, Arjun indicating Lord Shri Krishna should also attract his restless, turbulent, strong, and obstinate mind.
